Tiny Thatch and Clovelly Cottage and adjoining cobbled steps

House, formerly 2 cottages. Late C17-early C18 and late C18-early C19. Plastered
cob and rubble; cob, rubble and brick stacks; thatched roof. 4-room range facing
west. 2-room Tiny Thatch at left (north) end with projecting end stack and 2-room
Clovelly Cottage to right (south) with rear lateral stack to left room and rear end
corner stack to right room. Irregular 4-window front of late C19 and C20 casements
some with glazing bars, 2 to each cottage and roughly central doors. Clovelly
Cottage has C20 monopitch tiled hood. Roof gabled to left, hipped to right. Plain
carpentry detail inside. Left end room of Tiny Thatch on slightly different
alignment from rest and appears to have been a late C17-early C18 1-room cottage
originally; rest added late C18-early C19. Adjoining on west side a cobbled path
raised up into long shallow steps is included.
