GV II
Outbuilding, said to be remnant of brewhouse built 1620 by John
Grubbe, reduced in height and converted to garden store in C19.
Rubble stone with slate monopitch roofs from centre valley. Some
ground floor stone cross windows survive with recessed cyma-
mouldings typical of later C17, two on west side, one on east
between flush moulded doorways with recessed cyma-moulded 2-light
overlights. Timber lintel fireplace. A brick range is added to
west, C19 brickwork to front, C18 to rear, Bridgwater tiles to
front, stone slates to rear, probably open-fronted originally.
