C18. 3 storeys red brick on projecting plinth with moulded brick bands between
storeys, moulded brick cornice and tall parapet and stone coping. Old tile
roof. 4 windows to upper floors, recessed sashes, glazing bars intact, rubbed
brick arches, 3 similar windows ground floor and door of 6 fielded panels
to right, rectangular fanlight, marginal glazed with diamond centre, in doorcase
of panelled pilasters, cross reeded scroll brackets, moulded cornice and pediment.
Lower extension to right without parapet, one similar window. The west front
is tile hung with brick at north end. 2 delicate Cl9 rectangular bay windows,
with leaded lights.
Nos 49 & 51 form a group.
