House, now shop. Early C19 with later C19 alteration and C20
shopfront. Brown brick in Flemish bond with timber cornice;
pantile roof with brick stack.
EXTERIOR: 3-storey 1-window front. Shopfront has plate glass
window over panelled riser with glass door recessed to right.
First and second floor windows are 4-pane sashes with painted
stone sills and channelled wedge lintels, that on second floor
obscured by dentil and modillion cornice.
INTERIOR: close string staircase rises from first to second
floors, with stick balusters and moulded handrail ramped-up to
turned newels. Reeded doorcases survive on first floor; second
floor front room has plain fireplace with cast-iron basket
grate.
