Public house. Mid C19. Painted brick with hipped slate roof.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and 5 bays, with a straight joint to the
right of the 3rd window. The windows are glazing bar sashes
with black-painted brick lintels. The 2nd bay has a
carriageway on the ground floor, with a wide outer timber
lintel carried on pilasters, and with canted sides to left and
right connecting to the narrower central carriageway. The
right-hand side has a glazing bar sash window (2 over 4), and
the left-hand side has a 4-panel door. The 2 right-hand bays
of the main facade have a pair of glazing bar sash windows
(each 4 over 4) to the right, and a timber pilaster doorcase
to the left. This has a bracketed cornice and panelled
reveals. The door has 4 panels. Chimneys at left and in front
of ridge between 3rd and 4th bays.
