Monument to Agnes Forsyth (1861-1864). Pale yellow limestone, red sandstone base with granite colonnettes. Roundel of a girl set within a trefoil-headed arch flanked by colonnettes, with a steeply pitched roof with arched decoration above, standing across a coped slab. Inscribed 'AGNES'. On the reverse of the tomb is a relief of Christ blessing the children. The monument was erected and sculpted by James Forsyth, one of the leading sculptors of the mid-century, and Agnes's father. It is a particularly poignant example of a Victorian tomb to a small child.
