Two houses. 1823-28. Brick with some painted stone or stucco
dressings. Slate roof.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys with attic and cellars. No.3 two bays,
No.4 one bay. On the ground floor each house has a single
bowed tripartite glazing bar sash with a doorway to its right.
The 1st floor windows are glazing bar sashes and have painted
rusticated lintels with keystones and segmental soffits. No.4
has a single window on the 1st floor. The cellars are lit by
windows with glazing bars, and the attics have dormers with
horizontal sliding sashes, that to No.3 with glazing bars. The
doorcases have reeded pilasters, friezes with panels formed by
raised borders, flattened console brackets, and plain
semicircular overlights. The doors have 6 raised and fielded
panels. Shared chimneys at left and between houses.
