Terrace of 3 houses. c1840. Brick with stone dressings and
slate roof.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys plus attic. Each house 2 bays. The facade
has a stone plinth, and a continuous moulded sill band to the
1st floor windows, which have architraves with cornices and
pulvinated friezes. Each house has the brickwork of its upper
storeys recessed to form a sunken panel around its windows,
and within these panels each house has a 2nd floor sill band.
There is a timber gutter cornice. The windows are 12-pane
glazing bar sashes, and each house has a flat-roofed attic
dormer. Each house has a single ground-floor window with a
doorway to its right which has a round-arched surround with
rusticated blocks and moulded imposts. The doors have 6 raised
and fielded panels, and fanlights above. Chimneys on gables
and between houses.
