House with shop. c1841 with later alteration, including C20
shopfront. Pink-brown mottled brick in Flemish bond with eaves
band and modillion cornice of timber; brick stack and slate
roof.
EXTERIOR: 4-storey 1-window front. Shopfront of sunk panel
pilasters and plain cornice on grooved scrolled consoles.
First and second floor windows are 16-pane sashes, third floor
unequal 12-pane sash, those on second and third floors with
painted sills. All have slightly cambered arches of gauged
brick. Fluted bowl rainwater head to left.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
