Terrace of 4 houses and shop. Early C19. Yellow Gault brick
(front of No.2 painted) with slate hipped roof to Nos 4-10,
and concrete pantiles to No.2, which is hipped to north-east
and gabled to south-west; red tile hips and ridge; 2 Gault
brick ridgeline stacks and stack over south-west gable.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, but No.2 has higher eaves; 4+3-window
range.
No.2: the 1st floor has three 12-pane sash windows. The ground
floor has one similar window and a doorcase and shop front
combined, with continuous fascia and hood carried round a
canted bay window with plate glass. The doorcase has panelled
pilasters, panelled reveals and a fanlight with
geometric-pattern glazing bars, to door of 2 flush vertical
panels. The north-west flank has one 12-pane sash window on
1st floor.
Nos 4-10: 4 identical terrace units, each with a 16-pane sash
window on each floor. Each has a semicircular-headed door with
plain plaster spandrel and matching plain C20 doors.
