Lodge to Shadwell Grange. c1903. For Henry Barran. Coursed squared gritstone, grey slate hipped roofs. One and a half storeys, 2 bays. Classical Revival style. Single-storey timber porch right, with Ionic columns in antis supporting flat roof; canted bay window in projecting bay left, dormer with segmental pediment above and on right return. Tall corniced stack centre.
