Textile mill entrance range, now shops. Early C19, altered
C20. For Abraham Rhodes. Coursed squared gritstone, stone
slate roof. 2 storeys to road, L-plan with single- and
2-storey range extending to NE.
Road facade: 5 upper-floor windows, ashlar 4-centred arch with
voussoirs and impost blocks, narrow doorway to right, 2
doorways to left, shop window between, square window far
right. 2 square windows to upper floor centre, with stone
sills and lintels, small window under eaves right, 2
enlarged/inserted windows left. Short brick end stacks.
Rear (from yard): cart entrance and round-arched pedestrian
entrance to left, small windows with possible side-sliding
sashes under eaves, square windows centre and right; a
cast-iron clock face is fixed to the wall below the eaves,
right. Rear wing: single-storey, 2-bay block, 2-storey, 3-bay
block, both have roofs replaced.
