House, formerly used as chapel. Late C18 with early C19 and
C20 alterations. Coursed gritstone rubble, slate M-shaped
roof, hipped to road. 2 storeys, 4 windows to S front.
Entrance left has Classical surround with fluted three-quarter
columns, large open segmental pediment, semicircular fanlight
with glazing bars, obscured by climbing plants, panelled door.
C20 casements, surrounds obscured, end stacks. Left return:
doorway right, 3 sashes with glazing bars in flush wood
surrounds to 1st floor. Right return: semicircular bay right
with 3-light sash to 1st floor.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Used as a Methodist chapel before the late C19.
