House, now residential home. Mid C18. Brick; twin-span Welsh
slate roof; 2 brick central stacks, and stack to right rear.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, attic and cellar; 7-window range, 5 in
advanced central bay: late C19 two/two sashes under gauged
brick flat arches with stone keyblocks; 2/2 sashes over; coved
stone pediment with bullseye window in raised gauged brick
architrave with 4 stone keyblocks; rusticated stucco quoins.
Central entrance: 8-fielded-panel door in wood doorcase with
moulded and modillioned segmental pediment and frieze on
fluted pilasters; flanked by 2/2 sashes; to left, C19
four-fielded-panel door and plain overlight in stucco case,
and casement in altered opening; to right, late C19 plain
sash.
Right returned side: four 6/6 sashes in moulded cases under
gauged brick flat arches; storey band; 3/6 sash and 2 late C19
2/2 sashes, to right in gable of rear range; returned
eaves-detail. Late C19 canted bay with 1/1: 2/2: 1/1 sashes,
and large 6/6 sash under gauged brick flat arch, to ground
floor.
Rear (north) front: 5-window range: central 12/9 light flanked
by 6/6 sashes; gauged brick flat arches; storey band; moulded
and modillioned wood cornice and pediment with oval light and
2 inserted casements; entrance to centre left: C19 half-glazed
double doors, with entablature and attached columns; 3 large
6/6 sashes and blocked circular light; gauged brick flat
arches; storey band; stucco quoins.
