Rectory, now house. Early C19 with mid C19 additions, Restored
late C20. Stucco, with hipped slate roofs and 5 rendered side
wall stacks.
Plinth, first and second floor bands. Windows are mainly
glazing bar sashes. Main block 3 storeys; 3 x 3 bays. Garden
front, symmetrical, has central canted bay window, 3 storeys,
with half-glazed door and fanlight flanked by round-arched
windows. Upper floors have sashes of diminishing sizes. On
each side, a canted bay window, 2 storeys, 3 sashes, with a
small window above. To right, a single storey square
projection with a window on each side.
Right return has a central Doric portico with entablature,
covering a renewed elliptical arched double door. 2 sashes to
right, single storey projection to left. Above, a round-arched
window flanked to right by a similar larger window. Above
again, 2 smaller sham windows. Blanks to left.
Left return has 2 blank bays to right, and to left a bow
window, 2 storeys, 3 sashes. Beyond, an addition, 2 storeys, 2
bays, with paired windows on each floor.
INTERIOR has entrance hall with enriched cornice and beams,
and stone cantilever stair with traceried wrought-iron
balustrade. Drawing room has plaster panelled walls, cornice,
and bordered ceiling with fan corners. 3 early C19 wooden
fireplaces. Other rooms have cornices. Several moulded 4-panel
doors.
