Pair of shops, probably originally a single dwelling. Late C16
with early C19 alterations. Brick over timber-frame exposed
with brick nogging in rear elevation. Plain tiled roof. 2
storeys with attic, 3-window range. Inserted shop front in
No.16, and central door giving access to No.15. Full-height
canted bay largely rebuilt in left-hand gable, with casement
windows with leaded upper panes. 16- and 12-pane sash windows
with flat-arched brick heads to right. Brick nogging and
exposed timber-framing (probably a renewal of c1900) in
right-hand gable, with 4-light casement window. Wide gabled
dormer to right. Gable end stacks.
