Originally a covered market (c.f. Hugh P Kendall, op. cit. ). Mid Cl9. 2 storeys.
Rendered on stone base. Modern tile roof. Upper storey overhangs on wood and
iron supports. 9 windows, 2-light sashes, no glazing bars. Hipped roof with
ventilation grid in the centre. Wood doors on ground floor. Section at right angles
in ashlar with modern asbestos tiles. 2 storeys. Windows with stone-flat arch.
Included for group value.
