Farmhouse now house. C16, C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Coursed rubble with
ashlar dressings. Pantile roof with a single gable and a single ridge brick stacks.
Quoins 2 storey, 5 bay, lobby-entry plan. North front. Off-centre doorway with C20
door and flat hood. To the right a 3 light glazing bar casement with ashlar flat
hood and remains of chamfered 3 light mullion window, beyond a 2 light glazing bar
casement. To the left a 3 light and then 2, 2 light C20 casements. Above 3,
2 light C20 casements, and to the right 2, 2 light glazing bar casements. Interior
has 2 large chimneys, that to the east gable wall has large inglenook fireplace with
bressummer now partially blocked, the central chimney has 2 inglenook fireplaces, a
larger one to the east with bressummer and salt cupboard, to the south of this
chimney a stone winder staircase, no longer in use. 2 complete stud partitions
survive on the ground floor, with chamfered beams. Cellar has stone steps, no
longer in use, and a salting slab. Roof 3 main trusses with passing purlins and
ridge piece.
