Farmhouse, now private dwelling. Probably mid C17. Rendered stone and cob, left
gable end rebuilt in breeze blocks in C20. Double roman-tiled roof with gable ends.
Stack at right end with tapered cap. Lateral stack to left hand rear with brick
shaft.
2 room plan, the room to left heated by rear lateral stack, with wide entrance hall
and staircase between. Small 2 storey outbuilding adjoining at left end, now used
as workshop with bathroom over. Continuous outshut to rear.
2 storeys. 3 window range. C19 fenestration mainly intact. 3 light casement to
left of two 2 light casements all 6 panes per light above two 3 light casements, 2
panes per light to left 8 panes, per light to right, flanking plank door.
Semicircular headed window at right gable end of 2 lights with Y glazing bars.
Interior Ovolo moulded fireplace lintel with scroll stops to right hand room, which
has chamfered cross beams also with scroll stops. C19 joinery with some H-L hinges
to the doors. Chamfered fireplace lintel to room to left. Roof replaced probably
in C19 over left end, 2 trusses over right end with typical C17 lap-jointed collars
and threaded purlins.
