house and conservatory

Farm House and Conservatory; C17 with later C17 and C19 additions and C20 altera-
tions; coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings; stone coped gables with
moulded stacks and one moulded ridge stack on pantile roof. L-plan extended to
T-plan. Single storey with attics, 3 bay front with quoins, extended later in
C17 to form 4 bay front. Off centre 4 panelled door with plain overlight with
stone surround and moulded cornice flanked by to right one 3 light chamfer
mullioned window and to left one 2 light chamfer mullioned window and a single
3 light ovolo mullioned window. All 3 windows have iron casements and moulded
cornices. A quoin on the left is inscribed "1698 June HPB", and above is a
graffiti of a hand. In the roof are 3 C20 large dormer windows with sloping
roofs. The rear elevation has further ovolo and chamfer conservatory. The
interior has plain chamfered beams.
