Flagstone wall on east side of
footpath from Turnhill
Road/Crompton Avenue

Flagstone boundary wall. Early-mid C19, constucted of massive
fissile sandstone flags, set into the ground and joined at
mid-flag level by means of circular metal plates bolted together.
The flagstones are approximately 1.75 metres in height and of
random width, sometimes as wide as 2 metres.
The wall is approximately 160 metres long and is a prominent and
complete example of the type.
