Range of farm buildings. C17 with C18 and C19 additions, with further alteration and
additions C20. Rubble Lakeland stone, roughly-coursed, with some sandstone dressings, below green slate roof coverings, laid to diminishing courses, and now partially replaced with corrugated sheeting. Irregular 'T' shaped complex, incrementally linked and extended.
CRUCK-FRAMED RANGE TO NORTH WEST; the earliest component outbuilding,
of four bays, with lean-to extension enclosing south side wall. Interior with three cruck trusses supporting a diagonally set ridge and, originally, single purlins, but now with C20 double purlins to south slope. All trusses with dovetailed, face-halved and lapped collars, and yokes to link the truss apexes. Added bearers on south side carry replacement purlins. East gable with inserted ground-floor opening and taking-in door to gable apex
