A large L-shaped building of several periods. The north wing is C14 and
is of squared flints. This was originally the Table Hall to Christchurch
Monastry. 4 pointed windows with tracery and some very fine corbels. The
East-West wing is in 2 separate sections. The east half is chequered work
of stone and flints. C15 windows of stone and flints in the east gable end.
On its south front a modern bay window has been added with very fine C16
carved fernale brackets. The west half is late C17. 2 storeys and attic
plastered brick. The roof has 2 dormers and an eaves cornice. Stringcourse.
4 casement windows.
