Hospital, for a time a barn, now house. Inscribed stone plaque to South gable:-"John Westover, Chirugen, 1680", C20
alterations. Coursed and squared rubble, local Wedmore stone to ground floor, blue lias to first floor, dressed quoins,
coped verges, bases for finials, that to South with a weathervane. Two storeys and attic; road frontage to East of 2
bays, 2 and 3-light ovolo moulded mullioned windows, stopped labels, that to left in stone, those to right in concrete,
moulded string at first floor level continuing as part of the coping of a short section of squared rubble wall to
South. Door opening to centre of South elevation, moulded stone surround with a 4-centred head, C20 half glazed door,
further 2 and 3-light ovolo moulded stone mullioned windows to this frontage. (VAG reports, unpublished SRD, 1977,
1980).
