Farmhouse. Mid C18 with later alterations. Whitewashed granite rubble with corrugated
asbestos main roof hipped to right and C20 tile roofs to lower ranges. Brick dressings
and central ridge stack. 2-unit baffle-entry plan with range projecting forward on
right. 2 storeys and attic. One-window range facing garden. Central part-glazed door
with blocked window over. A central-opening 3-light casement on both floors to left,
with brick arched heads. Brick dentilled eaves. One-storey extension on left end,
and C20 window in gable attic above.2- and 3- light casements to rear facing driveway
and large central buttress. Lower 2-storey range projecting forward to right of front
door has door, 2-light casement and 4 small windows. Similar doors and fenestration on
side facing yard. Interior: back-to-back open fireplaces with brick stack and
stop-chamfered bressumers. Fireplace in sitting room has pair of cupboards with fielded-
panelled doors. Spine beams have stopped or run-out chamfers. Cl9 and C20 stairs.
Main roof has old purlins and pegged rafters, many replaced. Extension has old purlins
and lower projecting range has spine beams with simple chamfers.
