Small house. Datestone 1799; extended circa mid C19. Coursed Purbeck stone. Stone tile
roofs with gabled ends. Stone gable-end and axial stacks. PLAN: The 1799 house is of
2-room plan with a central entrance, the larger right hand room and smaller left room heated
from gable-end stacks. The large outshut at the back is probably partly integral. In circa mid
C19 a tall 1-room plan extension was built at the left [south] end. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys.
1:2 window east front. Original 2-window house on right with small 4-pane sashes and stone
cills and central doorway with plank door and simple C20 wooden porch. Stone tablet over
porch inscribed 'S.C. 1799'. Taller 2-storey 1-window circa mid C19 extension on left with
large 4-pane sashes. At rear the roof of the original house is carried down as a catslide over
the outshut and there is a small outshut in the right hand angle with the extension and
another extension on the north end. INTERIOR not inspected.
