Barn. C18 or early C19. Red and grey brick in English bond. Upper part
of each gable end weatherboarded. Plain tile roof. 4 timber-framed bays,
built gable-end to road. Midstrey to second bay from right (west).
Hipped roof. Gabled porch with weatherboarded sides and with corrugated
iron doors, rising from front aisle. Low double doors to rear. Later
brick entrance with segmental head, to left gable end. Ventilation slits
to aisles. Interior: gunstock-jowled arcade posts resting on wooden
cills on brick plinths. Arch-braced tie-beams and arcade plates. Clasped-
purlin roof, with nailed lapped collars, ridge piece, and occasional yokes.
Curved braces between aisle tie-beams and backs of arcade posts. Dragon
tie to each corner. Beresforstal Farm House not listed.
