Circa 1830 pair of cottages. 2 storeys red brick. Gable end slate roof,
eaves band. Brick plinth. 1 window each, recessed sashes with glazing bars
intact, stone block sills and flat stone arches. Recessed doors either end.
No 4 of 4 flush panels, No 5 of 3 moulded panels. Flat stone arches as with
windows.
Nos 3 to 10 (consec) (The Island) form an important group as viewed across
Devizes Green.
