Public road bridge. c1769 - 71 with later alterations. Designed by James Brindley. Red brick with later and C19 repairs in brindled brick. Blue brick saddleback parapet copings terminating in stone caps. Stone capped end piers at corners probably added in early C20. Single, semi-elliptical arch spanning canal and towpath. Slightly cambered parapets, curving outwards on plan. An example of an early Coventry Canal bridge.
