Farmhouse, c.1600; extended early C19. 2-cell lobby-entrance plan. 2 storeys
and attics. Timber-framed, now encased in painted C19 brick, but at the rear
is some cable-pattern pargetting within a C19 outshut. Slated roof (the rear
slope is plaintiled). Axial and end chimneys of C19 red brick. Early C19
small-pane sash windows; those at the ground storey have sidelights and
segmental heads of gauged brick. Early C19 6-panelled entrance door. The
left-hand block was added in brick in early C19. Complete timber-framing
exposed internally, plain apart from ovolo-mouldings to main 1st and attic
floor members.
