Barn. C15, 8 bay timber framed and weatherboarded and part rendered. Half
hipped with gablets, at each end, peg tile roof and 2 contemporary midstreys
on W side. Hybrid cross quadrant crown post roof with decorative chamfers
supports collar purlin and there are also framed side purlins, diminished
rafters and curved wind braces. Scarf joints are halved and double bridled.
A structure of advanced design and of great quality. Moated site. (RCHM 4).
