Detached cottage. C17 origin, enlarged - probably in C18. Main range at
right angles to road. Brick walls, south gable wall plastered, thatched roof,
central brick stack. One storey and attic. Entrance in south gable. Part-
glazed, panelled door. One casement window on ground floor and one in
attic. West elevation has mainly C20 windows but one small window under
eaves has remains of lead lights. Main ground floor room has large open
fireplace with timber lintol. Some exposed ceiling beams. RCHM Monument 32.
