Probably barn, now house pair. C16 or earlier, with C19 facade. Timber
framed. Front elevation red brick in Flemish bond. Left gable end brick
to ground floor, rendered above, right gable end weatherboarded to ground
floor, rendered above, rear rendered. Plain tile roof. Probably 3 timber-
framed bays. 2 storeys. Hipped roof with gablets. Central brick stack
in front slope of roof. Irregular fenestration of two 2-light wooden
casements. Segmental heads to ground-floor windows. Boarded doors with
segmental heads; to left end to Tulip Cottage, to right end to Lilac
Cottage. Interior: only partly inspected. Gunstock-jowled principal posts.
Edge-halved scarf joint. Collared common rafter roof. Included for group
value.
