1923 by Fosbrooke and Bedingfield of Leicester. Built as a leather warehouse for the
Pfister and Vogal Company and reputed to be a replica of the firm's headquarters
in Philadephia. Brick with stone dressings with some gothic details. A tall four
storey, three bay building. Left and right project with large three storey upper
windows with transoms and mullions with continuous shafts. Ground floor right
vehicle entrance. Ground floor left moulded ogee arched doorway with carved foliage
decoration, flanking round-headed lights and circular panels above.
Recessed centre with tall narrow metal-frame canted bay window of three storeys
with ornamental lead panels and ogee shaped roof with tapered flag-pole.
