Farm house, c.1700 of red brick and clay pantile roof. 'L'-shaped plan of
2 storeys and attics with entrance facade to west. Facade 5 bays, delineated
by glazed headers, with central Cl9 porch with curved gable and C19 6 panel
entrance door with fanlight. C19 casement windows in original openings, those
at ground floor level with transoms, glazing bars and flat gauged brick arches
with moulded brick-band above. First floor windows have glazing bars.
Scattered fenestration of C18 and C19 casement windows on other elevations
with flat gauged brick, or segmental brick arches. Brick plinth and moulded
brick eaves generally. 3 curved gables with moulded brick kneelers and plat
bands at attic floor level, that to the north of moulded brick. C19 end stack
to east and external stack of east wall of south wing. Off centre axial stack
on east wing. C19 scallop shaped tiles on west roof slope. Close spaced
chamfered principal beams visible to attic floor in service wing (east).
Bold late C19 dog-leg stair with turned newels and balusters. Late C19 double
framed roof.
