Gateway and walls about 20 M north of Shelford Manor House

Gateway and walls. Late C17. Ashlar, dressed coursed rubble and
rock-face ashlar. Pair of chamfered rusticated ashlar gate piers
with ashlar coping and single orb finial to that on the west.
North side of piers have fillets with decorative scrolls to the
top. To the rear of each pier is a single decorative bracket
which rests upon a dressed coursed rubble and ashlar wall with
rock-face coping. The walls sweep round for about 4 metres and
terminate in single small piers with the remains of pineapple
finials.
