Chest tomb. Late C18. Portland stone. Rectangular chest on 2 steps and a
moulded plinth with a moulded oversailing lid and reeded corner pilasters.
oval panels to each end, roundels in relief on each side with festoons, one
with an inscription commemorating Thomas Monckton, died 1757.

A high quality chest tomb in an outstanding churchyard.
