GV II
Chest tomb. Late C17. Sandstone. Thick top to moulded edge, sunk panels with
enriched mouldings north and south, rich carved hangings east and west, moulded
base, part sunk at time of survey, December 1983. Monument carries some fine C17
incised lettering, including Dorathy Seborne died 1691 aged 76 and Francis Seborne,
1696 aged 84. This is a good example of the funerary carver's art of the C17.
