St Saviour's War Memorial
II

War Memorial. Dedicated to the memory of men from the parish of St Saviour who died in the 1914-18 World War. Designed by John Samuel Alder and dedicated by Seymour-Isaacs on Passion Sunday, 6 April 1919. Carved Portland stone cross surmounted on octagonal tapered column. This is set on a square carved stone plinth inscribed with the names of the dead. The plinth is raised on two stone steps. These are inscribed with commemorative mottoes and a date plaque '1914-1919'.
