Monument to Thomas Skarratt Hall (ob. 1903). Polished pink granite on a stone plinth. Vast
sarcophagus based on the oft-copied sarcophagus of Cornelius Lucius Scipio Barbatus. Doric
frieze to prismatic lid, with volutes at the corners. Lettering in a stylised version of late Antique
Roman script.
