Probably early to mid C19, 3 storey, stucco lined and painted, 4 windows,
sash, and 3-light window on round corner. Rusticated quoins, eaves entablature,
slate roof. Upper floor windows with glazing bars. Rather plain return
face, to Bridge Street. in very important position at entrance to town.
Anchor Hotel, Nos 7 to 51 (odd) and Evangelical Church form a group.
Also the Anchor Hotel forms a group with Ship and Plough Inn, The promenade.
