Detached cottage. Probably C18. Local lias stone roughly cut and squared; thatched roof with plain gables; brick
chimney stacks. L-plan, the rear elevation being set lower: 2 storeys, 2 bays. Small-pane casement windows of 2-lights,
the lower being set in small thatched square bays; between bays a projecting stone and thatched porch with part-glazed
door. Interior not seen. Five metres to front of house, a boundary wall about 600 mm high, in Keinton stone pianks: C20
metal gate with wood posts in centre - a rare survival in the village, adding to the setting of the house and the
streetscape.
