Detached house. Early C19. Local lias stone roughly cut and squared; asbestos cement slates between coped gables.
hipped Welsh slate roof to rear portion; brick end chimney stacks. Double roof plan. Two storeys with attic, 3 bays.
Small-pane casement windows of 2-lights, with voussoired flat arches, the keystones projecting slightly: in matching
opening to lower bay 2 a 6-panel door with 2 glazed panels without hood: attic casement window in east gable: rear
extension has 12-pane sash in east gable: further lean-to extensions against both sections of east wall. Interior not
seen. Marking the south boundary is a cast iron railing, having bud finials and pair of matching gates opposite door on
scroll braced gateposts: high return stone walls to east and west with flat copings and sweeps up to corners of house.
all adding to setting of house.
