House. 1730. Designed by and built for Sir Thomas Parkyns of
Bunny Hall. Red brick with ashlar dressings. Pantile roof. 3
red brick ridge stacks. Brick coped gables with kneelers.
Dentil eaves. Red brick plinth. First floor band. 2 storeys,
6 bays. Doorway with reveal and plank door. To the left is a
single small casement and on the far left a single casement. To
the right is a single fixed light and further right 2 tripartite
casements. All openings apart from the small casement are under
segmental arches. Above are 4 casements. In the left gable is
an ashlar plaque inscribed "1730". Interior has a fireplace with
a bressumer beam and 2 salt cupboards. Some chamfered beams with
ogee stops. After a devastating fire in 1705 much of the village
of Bradmore was rebuilt by Sir Thomas Parkyns of Bunny to his own
designs.
