Farmhouse. now dwelling. Late medieval. ceiled C16, altered and enlarged C18, restored mid C20. Rendered over random
rubble. thatched root hipped to right, C18 brick stack to left of entrance, external stone stack left gable end. Plan:
open hall house ceiled to 3-cell and cross passage facing west, south end enlarged. One and half storeys, 5 bays,
irregular fenestration, C20 wooden and upvc casements, first floor two 3-light dormer rising through eaves, 2-light to
right, eaves line drops with two 3-light casements set below eaves to right, ground floor two 3-light casements left,
4-light early Cl9 leaded iron casement to left of entrance, 3-light casements and French windows beyond. Interior much
altered but evidence of smoke blackened jointed cruck truss roof, through passage screen removed and long narrow room
to right with roughly dressed beams, large hall stack with recess, possibly far bread oven, and small cupboard.
