Early C19. 3 storeys buff brick (No 8 is painted), 1 sash each with glazing
bar intact. Rounded corner to No 9. No 9 has a fine early C19 shopfront
with cornice, pilasters and panelled risers. No 8 has a similar early C19
shopfront.
Nos 1 to 4 (consec) and Nos 7 to 21 (consec) form a grade II group.
Also forms a group with Nos 72 to 74 (consec) and St Mary Northgate
Hall, Northgate.
