Former rectory. Mid C18, but incorporating earlier fragments. Cary stone ashlar facade, cut and squared work elsewhere;
half hipped plain clay tile roof; ashlar chimney stacks with moulded caps. L-plan. Two storeys, five bays, of which the
centre 3 bays project under a flat roof behind a plain parapet with moulded coping. Lias stone base, plinth, cornice
mould to centre bays, rusticated quoins; 2-light mullioned and architraved windows with two 10-pane casements to outer
bays both levels, two 5-pane casements bays 2 and 4, and to upper bay 3 a 12-pane sash window in keystoned architrave:
to lower bay 3 a wide 6-panel door in keystoned architrave under open pediment enclosing urn. West elevation has gable
end. with matching first floor window and C19 flat roofed bay window below, then a 2-bay extension with architraved
12-pane sash windows. On east gable at first floor level remains of a Venetian window, now blocked and partly obscured
by stable wing (qv). Sundry additons to rear incorporate re-located mullioned windows of C17, without labels. Interior
has C18 staircases, lower flight possibly relocated; Regency detailing includes a Chippendale style glazed cupboard in
hall, and fine south-west corner room with fine acanthus coving and plaster panelled walls: north west room refitted in
late C19: only part of interior inspected.
