Road bridge over the Rive Isle and water meadows. 1800, Random rubble chert stone, Ban stone dressings. About 120m inlength with small single arch towards south-eastern end over River Isle, semi-circular head with ashlar surround and
keystone. Flat coping, quoins, retaining walls curved back to newels, drainage pipes set in retaining wall, The bridge was erected by the Ilchester Turnpike Trust. (Bentley and Murless, Somerset Roads, 1985)
