House, former farmhouse. 1820, with C20 minor extension. Walls of malmstone
ashlar, galletted, with brick quoins and cambered openings. Hipped slate roof,
with pediment/gable to projecting centre, containing a panel dated 1820. South-
west front: symmetrical of 2 storeys, 1.1.1 windows. C20 casements. French door
with open arched porch. Single-storeyed set-back wings at each side: the rear
shows two hips and has two glazed projections, one a porch the other a bay. Bronze
plaque above the entrance inscribed: Here lived Edward Thomas, poet, born 1878 died
1917.
