Farmhouse, now house. Late C17. Refenestrated late C18.
Additions and alterations late C19 and mid C20. Brick, rendered
and colourwashed. C20 plain tile roof. Brick plinth, first and
second floor bands at front. Shouldered coped gables. 2 side
wall and single ridge stacks. 2 storeys plus garrets, 3 bays.
L-plan. Windows are C20 casements and glazing bar sashes. Front
has central C20 Tudor style timber framed porch with brick plinth
and leaded glazing, flanked by single sashes with shutters.
Above, to left, 2 sashes. To left again, early C20 gabled and
lean-to additions with a single sash on each floor. Rear has to
right, gabled wing and beyond, lean-to and single storey
additions, 3 bays. To left, French window and to its right, a
casement. Beyond, to right, 3 casements. Above, to left, a
sash, and to right 2 casements. Above again, gable to right has
casement with segmental head. East side has to left, 2 doors
with overlights. Regular fenestration with sashes and single
garret casement. Late C17 dogleg stair with landings, 3 floors,
with vase and stem balusters, intersecting handrail and string,
square newels and acorn drops. Secondary winder stair late C18.
Drawing room has C18 fielded panelling with chair rail and
moulded cornice. Early C19 panelled fireplace with hob grate,
flanked to right by round headed cupboard. C18 purlin roof. 8
C18 2 panel doors. 4 C18 plank doors.
